WINTER PULL-OVER

Paris in December is a magical city, wrapped in the warm atmosphere of Christmas, even brighter and brilliant than usual. This night I went out to do some shopping and buy some Christmas presents, still clutching in my hands my big American coffee boiling.

I am always looking for outfits that allow me not to suffer too much the cold. Fashion this time popped into my help, proposing as seasonal trends the heavy and wrapping pulls, high-necked, that few years ago we’d brought with us only for a mountain hike. Today, the same pulls are the stars of a winter to be warmed up even in town. The knit-wear ruled on the catwalks of the biggest brands and the result has been original and unique items.

The parades have proposed woolen threads that are woven throughout the body in a tubular style, long pull-over with naive applications, small turtlenecked pulls, moheir wool clouds, knitting with zip, or tiny sweaters with candid tricoté plots or full-bodied torchon with virtuous spiral finishes. I personally had (as they say here in Paris) a coup de coeur for this burgundy sweater (a color that represents another trend of this season!). This pull for me is a great combination of comfort and style and you can wear it with a basic skirt as I did, but even with a pair of trousers. The motto of this year winter could be: be stylish but staying warm!
