A Camping Chic on a rooftop in Paris?
It seems incredible that last Friday it has really happened and I was lucky enough to be there!
Imagine a stilish rooftop with an exceptional view on the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides with the Montparnasse tower dominating from behind you, and there a very special camping set up in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the “2 seconds” tent by Quechua (a special tent able to mount in just 2 seconds with no efforts, try it!).
This fancy experience has begun with a fantastic rooftop party to literally celebrate the 2 seconds tent anniversary with a cake, champagne, music and a terrace full of fashion, lifestyle, travel and adventure bloggers all mixed together.
At the center of the terrace, to capture everybody’s curiosity the super telescope set up by the French Astronomy Association that was there waiting for us with the sunset and to make us live a special night between science and adventure under the main caracter the universe.
When the night has come, I could see Venus and dream observing the different constellations, until the long-awaited moment, the one in which everybody could appreciate the fascinating rings of Saturn.
I never imagined I could see the stars so well under the sky of the city of lights, but it has finally happened, and it was exciting. Later in the night, just few people remained on tge terrace as there were only 5 tents for the lucky ones who could have the chance to stay. I had it!!
Gathering under the sky of Paris to sleep in tents was so atypical, unusual and definitely romantic! Even when I woke up with the smell of a typical French breakfast it was very sweet and now can’t wait to replicate this experience with my 2 seconds again… maybe in front of the sea!
But that’s not all: for the occasion of the 10th birthday of this legendary tent, Quechua launched the mobile temporary application “My 2 Seconds”, thanks to which you can be selected as a winner of a trip for 2 persons in Perù, simply sharing a video of your memorable 2 seconds of adventure.
